Who We Are

Meadow Valley Market opened its doors in January 2021. Our small rural community had been without a grocery store for over 10 years and had a desperate need that became apparent during the covid pandemic. A small group of local residents and families got together to discuss ways to help the community. We created the vision of a full-service grocery store to satisfy the needs of our local residents.

Our vision included ways to fill the gap caused by closures and the inability of our residents to get to a store or those that had concerns about their health and wellbeing. We decided that even though small, at just over 5000 sq ft, we wanted to offer modern amenities such as a website, online ordering for pickup and even delivery for those that desired.

After 6 months of learning to navigate the pitfalls of a retail grocery store and learning the needs and desires of our local community, we rolled out our rewards program and online store with delivery and pickup options offered for a small fee or even free with rewards program participation. Our community and outlying areas have responded by showing loyal support and encouragement. We are working hard to fill the special requests and needs of our citizens for a fair price.

The culture we strive to create at our store for both employees and guests is rooted in small town values, an appreciation of our guests, and a fun, encouraging environment for our employees to thrive, learn and move up in our organization and beyond. We are open and helpful to all people ensuring we draw in locals and travelers alike.
